Cruise Comments

Man, what a time we had!! I had a concert in Hollywood Florida on Sunday Morning January 29th and had a great time that evening as we got to attend the church's singspiration. It was neat to be able to sit back and listen. The next day we took off from Fort Lauderdale on the Enchantment of the Seas. Monday was pretty busy as we had to set up sound and move into our stateroom and get adjusted, but by Tuesday everything was moving along just right. We had the opportunity to sing with some great people and meet with quite a few fans as well. I got to sing with Billy and Paula Speer on Thursday evening and man that was a real treat. If you ever get the chance, go hear Billy and Paula in concert. They are awesome people. Friday night the Cruise Choir sang and I did the solo on His Eye Is On The Sparrow. What a thrill to sing with the choir, we all had a blast. We had a wonderful time cruising, we visited Key West Florida on Tuesday, and then moved on down to Cazumel, Sheila and I stayed on the ship both in Cazumel and Belize. We enjoyed it so much and encourage you to think about going with us next year. We will be going to Jamaica next year and there will be more info on that in the coming months. Stay tuned for that.
We docked on Saturday and had to hit the road right away to get to Virginia for a Sunday evening concert at a brand new Church in Hardy Vriginia. Pastor Troy Keaton and his brother Jeff from their sister Church were very gracious and we had a great concert that evening. Right after the concert I headed to the hotel to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers WIN THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!!!!! Man I was yelling and hollering so much I thought we might get thrown out but we survived. We got home on Monday evening and it was great to get home and see the kids.
Even though its nice to travel, its always nice to come home again. I will be doing a lot of traveling in the coming months so please keep me in your prayers as we travel.
